I first taught myself web design in 1997... yes, I taught
myself. My first page was a free site on tripod that had bright
bright pink swirly wallpaper with yellow... yes, YELLOW... text.
Hopefully I've since evolved and continued to learn and improved
on my sense of design a bit. :)
I got my degree from Hood College in Frederick, MD in communication arts with a focus in editing and layout. I always enjoyed doing page layout for print publications from the time I first got into it in high school, and the web offers me even greater flexibility and more creativity than is possible in most print publications.
My fiance' and I are currently hard at work getting our next new venture ready to launch and I'll be linking that here as soon as it's ready. I also run a political blog at loveliberty2004.com. I also love to read, take care of my dog, and teach myself new photoshop tricks!
